Hi Laura Ann,

Sue S.

NW would be Nicholas Wilcox I guess. I am sorry about your and Jamie
Yates's experiences, but glad staff caught yours.

I am thankful it was returned to step one with a note to someone to
read through to proof it.

I removed headers and put blank lines at the top of the page and made
sure the entire book was there but did not read it through completely.
I shared my email in the comments if someone needed to contact me.

glad we are seeing something being done so that books are proofed and
not just checked out and checked back in without any work.
It is different if a team working on books together does this
because it has been read through like in the case of those who are in
the same house hold.

and some wondered why a few of us like working in teams....its
because then we know our books we work hard on scanning will get a
read through and TLC.
We seek those who are interested in the book categories we scan to
proof because then we know it will get read through and have the
attention it needs and deserves to catch any errors.

I was trying to put books up for step one for volunteers to have to
proof....but noted it needed to be read through.
Glad the staff caught that it hadn't been given time to read through.

I wonder if the ones doing the quick proofing need mentoring so they
can learn what is expected of proof readers for a quality job.

Laura Ann
