An Iranian Odyssey
By Gohar Kordi

Is the autobiography of the first blind woman to attend a university and
graduate in Iran. Tells of her life, her blindness at age four, and about
her life living with her family, from begging on the street, being abused by
her brother the "favored" kid in the family and her burning desire to learn
and her experiences at the Mission school for blind students. Gives a great
cultural portrayal of Iranian life as well.

Enjoy.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
