A member has requested The Night of the Grizzlies, by
Jack Olsen. It is nonfiction, about Glacier National
park grizzly attacks and according to an Amazon
reader, it's well-written. The reader is afraid to
take out trash at night. smile I googled. Apparently
in August 1967, for the first time since the park
opened in 1910, two grizzlies independently attacked
camps at a distance from each other. Now the park
rangers assured on hiker that there are about 2
grizzly maulings a year but haven't been any deaths.
