Book Discussion Honoring Isaac Bashevis Singer

In a special edition of the Mid-Illinois Talking Book
Center Meting of the Minds book discussion group, Dr.
Loren Logsdon of Eureka College and Tom Peter of TAP
Information Services will lead a discussion on the
author and his short stories: The Collected Short
Stories (RC 017873).

The online discussion will be on Wednesday evening,
July 21, from 7:00 to approximately 9:00 central time.
Discussion leaders will provide a background on
Singer's life and works and lead an interactive
discussion on his short stories and their role in
American literature.

All that is needed to participate is a computer with
an Internet connection, a sound card, and speakers.
Participants can interact via text chat, or audio if
they have a pc microphone. Conferencing software for
the program is hosted by Talking Communities.
