Hi All,
As a proofreader who uses a Braille display, I leave italicized and bolded text
alone. In fiction, I often run into instances where a character will be
thinking, and his/her thoughts are italicized. One book I proofed had four
pages of italicized 12 point text, because this character was thinking. I
checked with the submitter to make sure, and all those pages were italicized in
the print book. So I leave them alone.
