Kim the only way I know how to do this is to select the text you want and paste into a new document, rename it whatever you want like a page number or several page numbers like pages 330-233 and so forth and so on, hope you know how to already select text with JFW, if not, then I'll be glad to assist. There probably is a macro out there that is free, but don't know how accurate it is, when I saw the one at http://www.brothersoft.com/downloads/macro-word-2003.html
Sorry tried to offer up a simple solution, hope someone else can help you as well perhaps someone can feel free to chime on in, please for my sake of feeling like I've given her the go-around?

Hi, Cindy, how do I highlight the text? I've never done this before. Do I hit the spacebar at every line of text? Is there a block command in Word? Sorry, but you're dealing with a person who has never done this before. Iknow how to copy stuff to the clipboard and I've selected a line of text. Isthere a highlight command in Word? I figure the stupid question is the one you don't ask. Regards, a puzzled Kim Friedman. -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cindy Sent: Wednesday, February 24, 2010 3:46 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Blocks of text how-to yes to the second question.
