She needs to get the stream. The Wave can only play audio dazi books. It can't play the books with text like the Stream can. The Stream is also caipable of playing nls talking books unlike the wave. You can also listen to rtf and txt files on the stream if you have any books in that format. ----- Original Message ----- From: Barbara Baker To: Book Share Cc: Kurzweil 1000 ; Book Port Sent: Tuesday, August 26, 2008 10:15 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Barbara -- Victor Reader Wave: OT A friend of mine who has Dyslexia wants to know if she can listen to Book Share and RFB&D books using the Victor Reader Wave. Since Book Port is no longer being manufactured, she wants to know whether she should get the Victor Stream Reader or the Victor Reader Wave. The reason that she is thinking of getting the Victor Reader Wave is because this machine is less expensive than the Victor Stream Reader. What are the differences among the two devices? Which one is the better machine? Barbara
