Lissi,You are quite right, , with the new fast computers and the greatly improved o c r programs scans can be much better. If Bad Company is still on step 1, I may download it and check it myself. Being the submitter, I believe that if it needs improveing I am allowed to make corrections and resubmit it.

Dear Jim,No wonder you don't remember. You've done tons of books. And, all of us have a few we'd have done differently. I love swapping horror stories about some of our first validations. You must also like some of the same types of books I do because your name keeps popping up when I download books I want to read.Remember at the beginning scanners weren't as accurate and Bookshare only required a few quick checks so the quality wasn't as good as it is now. Actually they still don't require as much as I wish they would, but most of us know better now and give our books the full treatment so most Books are excellent these days.Always with love, Lissi ----- Original Message ----- From: "the ppardees" <jfpardee@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2008 10:12 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Bad CompanySue Wow! That was two computers ago. So it might not be the best scan. If we don't hear from David Talmage that he still has it, I will get it, look at it, and let you know offlist. I do not remember when I scanned it and can not find my submitted copy.. If it's bad please reject it and I'll do it again.
