The Kansys braille translator is TurboBraille, I believe. And I don't think
they ever made a windows version, so you'd have to run it under a dos prompt,
if that is still possible in XP. K1000 uses nfb trans and is, to the
best of my knowledge, using the latest iteration of that program in its latest
release.
