Hi, I see where you're coming from and you've got some valid points. A BPO or Better Proof Of is a great idea. The book wouldn't necessarily need to be resubmitted, just proofed again.I've read several books and, while I was listening to them, I thought something like "Why didn't the validator just ask the submitter to rescan that one page?" Or, just give me ten minutes with this book to do search and replaces and it'll be perfect."I think, and I could be wrong here, that, when a book quality issue is reported, Bookshare actually gets the book, rescans, and proofs it in-house. All that time and effort might not always be necessary.
