Given the author, who's to say it was a BB gun. Seems to me that shotguns
deliver the same little BBs and maybe with enough force to push one well into
the spine of a book. Other spines, don't want to go there.
Cary, seems that this might be the first candidate for a BookShare museum. If
this is a book you picked up at the library book sale, interesting to speculate
about who donated it. Even more interesting to think about the person who
bought the hollowed out book with the stash of thousand dollar bills. Oh, who
cares, it would have been an even worse mess to validate.
