[bksvol-discuss] Re: Another Question for Braille Readers

I've been away from the list for a few days, but I thought I had been
told that the Stripper did in fact remove blank lines between paragraphs
and that we should use a hard return without a blank line or an
indentation.

Am I hearing correctly that blank lines are in fact retained??? As a
sighted volunteer I don't get to see a book after it has been through
the stripper.

Thanks for clarification,
Devorah (I apologize for jumping into the middle of a conversation, but
I have deliberately stopped inserting blank lines between paragraphs
because I thought they were removed by The Stripper)

Hi Mayrie,

Actually, I wondered about this before posting this message. I asked
Carrie
whether or not the stripper would remove blank lines from inside the
texts
and she said it would not. So since the blanks will be retained, I
thought
I'd ask folks if they liked the blanks.

I'm glad you brought up this question though, it was the one I had
myself.

Best,
Allison
