Hi Debby,
This does not sound like a BSO. A BSO happens when you are replacing a book that's already in the collection. Here it sounds like you are rejecting the original book that you were proofing, so you are just scanning in another original. The copy you were proofing should be gone, once the administrator sees your rejection note.
Hope this helps
Mike

Hi!

I have a hard copy of this book, so I decided to reject the copy I have been proofreading, because there were pages missing and scanos here and there that I couldn't figure out what they should be and I didn't keep a list of them so I could fix them. I also didn't know how to get hold of the submitter. I just felt that it was more trouble to fix and would take too long, and think it would be easier and more expedient to start fresh.

I am scanning a BSO of this book. I have scanned and read a few pages today. I am protecting page numbers and deleting headers and cleaning up any scanos I fine so whoever proofreads it should feel like he or she is reading a nearly finished product.

Debby
