Jackie McBride got "An Involuntary King: A Tale of Anglo Saxon England" up in Step 1, and I validated it, so I guess it is what's called "released" and just waiting for final approval!
I understand there is a historical fiction book club associated with Bookshare.. I would dearly love to participate in a discussion of my book.
Not sure what happens now, but at least it looks like I have a successful validation under my belt.
Say, may I ask a personal favor? Those of you who are also patrons of library services for the blind and print disabled.. would you call or email your library and ask for my book? I contacted my own library for the blind and they said that unless my book has two professional reviews.. like Library Journal and such, I don't have a prayer of even having it considered for recording. But they told me the more people ask for the book the more likely it is that NLS will record it.
