I've thought about that but, believe it or not, really don't like to make
waves. Months ago before more staff was hired I did write to Gustavo and
said that at least I thought Empire Falls should be added since it was an
award winning book but got no response.

jokingly said he needed books to approve. Maybe we can make him beg again.

No, sadly we havne't gotten a response, and as Evan pointed out, I've raised the question before, only not in relation to this particular book. But there are so many books that have been on that list for months and months--all the BSOs, for example, and I've had others there for months before finally being accepted. And only one of the books added last time was from the admin queue.
Perhaps that's why there's now a Good copy of Disability politics in the collection when someone else went to the trouble of scanning it and Lisa tried to validate it. It was probably sitting in the Q and they didn't know it. What a waste of their time!!
