For some reason I still have a copy of every book I've scanned, corrected to
the point where I submitted them to Bookshare. So not proofed. But I've
uploaded books at least two or three times with a page or two missing. And
the weird thing is that I at least nearly always read through the books I
do. But sometimes I get involved in the story and forget I'm checking things
out!

Oh, yes, been there, done that! grin. Don't feel too bad Kathy. For example,
once I uploaded a completely different book than the one I was checking in,
another time thought I did a great job and got the book back because an
entire page was missing... duh!
I learned the hard way to keep my copy of the book until the book was
actually approved and in the collection!

I just got a book back for further editing, and brother! Does it need it!
I goofed. I downloaded that book and saved an extra copy, (usual practice)
in case I mess one up, but I checked in the wrong one! I deleted both
copies after I checked it in. I carelessly put both the books in the same
folder. Bad idea! Have any of you pulled major bummers like that?
