Bob, You should have had a good idea since you would have received rejection notices if the book hadn't made it onto the list. and now validators are getting messages as well, I assume that they will be informed if a book they worked on was rejected as well. The only part of this scenario that concerns me is the fact that presently neither submitter or validator is notified if the book they worked on ends up back on step 1. In the account setting for my account I would like to see a percentage of books that I have worked on (scanned or validated) which made it into the bookshare collection. Not just a total that I get paid for.

In other words, if I scan a hundred books one year but only ten of them make it into the collection, then my rejection rate is 90%. Yuck!
