I don't know if page breaks would be lost by converting to txt because I have never tried it, but now that you mention it, I think that other discussion here indicates that it might, so, if it does, that would not do. I have proofread a number of books in Wordpad, but, as you know, that is not ideal. I thought that proofreading it in Open Book would be better, so this is the first one I did that with. If I had known this was going to happen I would have just stuck with Wordpad. Creating or using a macro is something I know nothing about. Converting it to txt is something I have not tried. Just curious--does it do that w/text as well? Perhaps if u have word u could save it as a text file, load it in2 word, & convert to rtf, . I've been workin w/another person on this list who uses OB & it does indeed do some weird things w/the conversion.
