You mentioned the back of the book, and from the
paperback romances of the sort you mentioned that I've
seen in  our used-book store, they have wonderful
fairly short synopses that can be copied and used in
the synopsis space. And you're right about how
effective they can be. I usually avoid paperback
romances but was captured by one on the back of a Lisa
Kleypas book when I was shelving it and now I've found
a new author I'm enjoying--a little embarrasedly, but
as an enjoyable break from other things.
