Lissi,

It doesn't work that way. You can't convert a 13 digit ISBN to 10 just by
leaving off 3 of the digits. If your book doesn't have a 10 digit ISBN,
then you'll not be able to enter an ISBN on the form. ISBNs are optional,
though, so don't worry about it.

Gerald

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] 13 to 10, ISBN subtract from which end?

Dear Booksharians,

I've encountered my first book with a 13 digit ISBN number and remember
hearing that Bookshare only processes 10 digits. Do I remove the first or
last three digits of a 13 figure ISBN number?

Thanks,

Always with love,

Lissi
