Hi Valerie,
You won't lose credit, if the copy you work on is added to the collection,
and someone enhances it later. Once a book has been added to the
collection, and credit has been awarded, it isn't taken away for any reason.

It was me, Gary! I did not read your email until after I had done it. I
did not see mention of the pictures and had to write no text on pages
without numbers or text. Numbering was a little funky and I had to play
around to make unknown numbers fit with the known numbers. I needed to
figure out something with software and had to grab a short enough book that
fit those parameters. If Cindy later wants to add picture descriptions, she
can write Carrie to put the collection copy on checkout for her to add them.
I won't mind losing credit as proofreader.

Do PQ books come with illustrations?
How many illustrations are in the books you've ordered to scan? Is there a
hurry to get the books into the collection?
If no one else offers, I'm willing, but I'm in the midst of proofing a long
book with numerous photos that need description, so I wouldn't be able to
get to it for a long time.
