Below is from a home owner boardering the commons area bewtween phases 1 and 2. many kids use the hill there for snowboarding and sledding. Although the area where the hill is - is common area - the homeowners driveways and yards around the area are private property and should not be used to access the common area. the entrance to the common area is on Applebrook between lots 77 & 88. Please be aware of private property and make sure your children are respectful of the property and people who live there. The hill behind lot #69 is private property and a sign has been posted for no sledding. This should include no playing, snowboarding, etc. It is a private yard. I noticed that Ben and Jean Denaro have posted a sign stating "No Sledding". I have also noticed that many kids are using the hill behind me, are unsupervised. Last year I replaced 5 rails on my pool fence. My first and foremost concern is their safety and the kids are ending up in Lucy's, and my yards, sometimes crashing into trees. I realize that it is fun for the kids to use, but it not the safest and parents should be watching to ensure their kids safety. The homeowners backing the hill should not be held liable or responsible for the neighborhood kids. Thank you. Note to Homeowners. Please remind your children who may be using the hill located in the commons area between phase 1 and phase 2, that the area around are homeowners properties. As a courtesy please keep an eye on your children that are using the hill for sledding/snow boarding. The area is not the safest, due to trees and other obstacles. Some kids have run into trees and pool fences (actually damaging the fence) and hurting themselves. The hill that is located at 4911 Knollcrest Court is not a subdivision common area and is a homeowners property. Please do not allow your children to use that hill for sledding or snow boarding.
