Hello all again,
Snow plow update for the week ending 11-15-09
I have collected from 53 homes for $3180.00. A big thank you to those who have
turned in money for this. Pinnacle homes will be cutting me a check if they
haven't already done so - that is for another 47 homes. That brings us to 100
out of 194 homes in Birkdale Pointe.
I have made the first payment of $1800.00 to J & S Landscape. I need to collect
the balance ASAP. J & S will provide service only for up to what we have paid
for. We are paid until about Christmas, and I have enough for about another
month. ( this is a time contract not a by the push contract) Think of it like
an insurance policy - we're only covered if the premiums are paid.
Several home owners contacted me that they would be getting checks to me over
the weekend, or the beginning of this coming week. This serves as your
reminder.
Those who are still undecided or don't want to participate for whatever reasons
- please consider doing so. I've already listed several reasons why we need to
have private plowing - I won't waste your time telling you again. Please
consider that many of your direct neighbors are contributing towards this. It's
not right that you should benefit from their support without your share. This
community belongs to all of us and we should all be equally responsible for it.
It doesn't matter who has or not has contributed to things in the past. This is
for the present - 2009/2010 winter season. This is not for cosmetics, or
beautification - this is for safety. For reasons beyond our control - we do not
control our Association - if we did - you may not have a choice in contributing
to this.
There are several home owners I do not have email addresses for. If you see
your neighbors feel free to pass this along. I cannot personally afford the
postage to send this in the mail to everyone each week.
I am asking for $60.00 per home. Please make your check out to cash and write
snow plow and your lot # on the memo line. You may leave your check in a sealed
envelope inside my front door. Please give cash donations directly to me. You
may also mail your check. Deliver or mail to Geralyn Milewski 5118 Birkdale -

Again thank you to those who have already paid. Hopefully I will see
contributions from the rest.
