A single White-winged Scoter was seen on the Ohio River at Duffy's Landing on the Indiana side of the river (boat launching ramp). It was easily viewed for several hours and was still diving and preening at 5:00p. Eddie Huber should have some very nice photos. The bird moved up the river only short distances and would drift back, usually in sight from the parking lot on the Indiana bank directly across from Cox's Park. Once, it was disturbed by a boat being lauched and it drifted as far down river, as to be directly across from the Louisville Water Tower. After ~15 minutes it flew back to Duffy's Landing. Tom Becker
