My husband and I visited the Hays-Kennedy City Park in Metro-Louisville this afternoon and saw the following: 2 White-rumped Sandpipers, 1 Least Sandpiper, 2 Semi-palmated Plovers, 12 Killdeer, and 1 immature Red-shouldered hawk. The wading birds were in the muddy slough in front of the parking lot on the right side of the main road.
