Had my first hummer of the year today here in NW Franklin County. Also had a
great blue heron fly over earlier from direction of KY River to the east of me
(where they've had a rookery for many years).
I've got plenty of common birds around my place this year, except no
whippoorwills or orioles. Have my first E. bluebird pair since the bad long
winter several years ago.
