While house-sitting outside of Berea last week a small flock of 8 solitary
sandpipers swooped in around my friends pond one misty afternoon and stayed
the night. Luckily I had my spotting scope so I got all the markings. Also
observed an olive-sided flycatcher and a Baltimore oriole.
