6:30AM to 8:30 AM
72º and overcast, light rain started at 7AM
No real unusual sightings. More a report on conditions.
Shorebird Unit is down to a few puddles and lots of mud.
40 Great Egrets flew over the area and passed Hardy Slough.
Killdeer small peeps.
Pond Creek Marsh is drying up except where the sand spit is baited and
set up for trapping.
70 Wood Ducks flushed
268 slough is full of big dead carp.
Killdeer and small peeps.
CR 136 near Horseshoe Road: 2 young turkeys on the road.
Horseshoe Road slough main pond is dried up.
