HighlightsTurkey 50 in a flock east of Sauerheber, another 25 near Anderson Pond. The biggest flocks I've seen since over a month ago west of Owensboro.
Short-eared Owl near Grassy Pond Common Golden Eye 4 at 268 slough, a pair at Horseshoe Road slough Red Heads across the road from Wood Tract Cooper's Hawk at Crenshaw Tract Bald Eagle Imm. at Wood Tract, another at Grassy Pond Am. Coot at 268 slough White-crowned Sparrows at Grassy Pond Tree Sparrow at Grassy Pond Other observations: Robins everywhere.20 Carolina Chickdees together working over the edge of the water at Crenshaw Tract Waterfowl in general had spread out all over western Henderson County, not just crowded onto the WMA
Anderson Pond almost deserted. No Tundra Swans seen. Ring-billed Gulls here and there scattered in small numbers. Wood Ducks everywhere.
