We had 45 species on the list this weekend.  It was a 5 Woodpecker and 7
Sparrow weekend.  

I glimpsed a green warbler in the willow oak this morning, which could have
been a Tennessee or Orange Crowned.  It's the tree where we've been seeing
Tennessees lately, but I couldn't be sure about this one.so the only warbler
listed is the Myrtle.  We saw our FOS Pine Siskin yesterday morning, FOS
Savannah Sparrow this morning  and the first Loggerhead Shrike in many
months this afternoon.  The Starlings scattering in the woodlot across the
road, late this afternoon, called my attention to a cruising Merlin.  We've
counted a Merlin about every other weekend for the last month.
