A Common Snipe took off from the back field pond as I passed this morning and
headed to the middle field pond, where I saw it again. Encountered it a third
time by a little puddle between the middle field and home. Some other Logan
County birders might count that as 3 snipes, but I think I saw just one.
Some female Bobolinks have joined up with what previously was an all male
group all around the hay field and nearby meadow.
