How in the world are the conservation/environmental voting records of state politicians "off the topic" on a forum designed for people who love birds and the world of nature? We all could put our heads in the sand and pretend that the policies and agendas of various politicians and their parties don't affect forest management, wetland destruction, and habitat loss, but that would be absurd. Seems to me that few topics are more "on the topic."
