Hi All, Les and I are very excited about the presence of a pair of CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLERS who have been around the yard for a few days. The male has been singing his heart out from various trees and the female lurks nearby. In fact, we identified it first through its song. I know that it is a long shot, but hopefully they will nest here. It seems that each year a resident pair of warblers nests in the yard: including a NORTHERN PARULA pair a few years back, YELLOW-THROATED WARBLERS, AMERICAN REDSTARTS, BLUE-WINGED WARBLERS, ETC.
