GOES imagery shows a nice view of the snow field across KY this morning. Later
today, go above the image and set frames to more than 60 to see a longer loop
below the overspreading cirrus layer of clouds. Later in the day the snow field
should disappear with above-freezing temps if clouds don't thicken.
Also notice how the still intact forest canopy (mostly oaks and hickories that
have yet to lose their leaves) is still present in and around Land Between the
Lakes and makes it look like no snow fell there.
