This is a heads up to anyone who is thinking of going birding at Spindletop
here in Lexington. They have mowed all the grassy buffers along the
streams and all the corn stubble has been removed so a lot of the prime
birding areas are not going to produce anything. They even mowed beyond
their own “no mowing” signs.
