This update is current as of October 27, 2003 at 12:00 PM EDT. The highlights of this update are: 15 SURF SCOTER were seen on the Ohio River in the Louisville area on Tuesday 10/21. They have not been relocated. A SELASPHORUS female hummingbird was seen in Berea on Thursday 10/23, and seen each day thru Sunday. Included in the weekend shore bird postings are: 12 DUNLIN, and 30 WILSON'S SNIPE at Petros Pond. GREATER and LESSER YELLOW LEGS, DUNLIN, and PECTORAL SANDPIPER at Minor Clark Fish Hatchery. WESTERN and LEAST SANDPIPER, DUNLIN, and both YELLOWLEGS at Blood River. BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER on Jonathon Creek. And a SEMI-PALMATED PLOVER in western Fulton County. Also seen in Fulton County were TREE SWALLOWS, TENNESSEE WARBLER, ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW, WHITE PELICAN, and at the junction of Sycamore and the levy was a HARLANS HAWK. Several LECONTE'S SPARROW were located at the end o road S5 in the Peabody WMA on Sunday. BALD EAGLE were viewed on Blood River, OSPREY , Cattle Egret , and the SNOW GOOSE at Minor Clark, and FRANKLIN'S and BONAPARTE'S GULL were located at Jonathon Creek and Blood River.
