Does anyone know of a bird rehab person who is close enough to Hopkins County that they would consider coming to the assistance of what my friends say is an injured red-tail hawk? They just called me because they know of my interest in birds. They think the hawk has a broken wing. Unfortunately they didn't call me until darkness fell. We are afraid the hawk will not survive the night. He can flop along well enough to prevent a human capturing him, but he cannot get off the ground. My phone number is 270-821-2257. I have tried to contact Eric Williams but was not able to.
