A beautiful bird, indeed. Perhaps my favorite warbler.

Forgive my ignorance on this but does a GWW at LBL seem odd to anyone else?? I
know the range maps out there aren't exactly great for this species but I've
only observed them east of I-75 and that far west just seems odd to me.

I'm not questioning the ID at all, just very excited that these birds are at
LBL.

Thanks,

Andrew Logsdon

Hi,

I did some birding yesterday late afternoon / early evening in Land Between The
Lakes, between the North Welcome Station and the Twin Lakes boat ramp area.
There were a lot of birds active and singing, especially as the temperature
cooled off while the sun began to set.  Highlights included:

- Wild Turkey
- Osprey
- Barred Owl
- Hairy Woodpecker
- Acadian Flycatcher
- Great Crested Flycatcher
- Red-eyed, Yellow-throated, and White-eyed Vireos (many)
- Eastern Bluebird
- Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (many)
- Wood Thrush
- Golden-winged Warbler (a first for me - so beautiful!)
- Tennessee Warbler
- Northern Parula (many)
- Yellow-throated Warbler
- Pine Warbler
- Prairie Warbler
- Kentucky Warbler
- Common Yellowthroat
- Yellow-breasted Chat
- Summer &  Scarlet Tanager
- Orchard Oriole
