[birdky] Cranes

The sky was alive with Sandhill Cranes today in Barren County. I estimate that
I saw between 9 and 11 thousand in various locations. Many individual groups
numbering between 25 and 200 caught thermals and were moving north. If you live
near Cecelia many should be arriving in the next 3 or 4 days. No large white
cranes could be found, however, a beautiful female Merlin posed and sat quietly
on a fence post for a long time.
