Hi All, Yesterday while Les and I were eating lunch in our upstairs sunroom among the trees, we were treated by the company of a CERULEAN WARBLER less than ten feet away. We have been lucky also in seeing CERULEANS obviously breeding in three different areas, including near our house. A female AMERICAN REDSTART was also in the same trees near our second story windows. I hardly can wait for the fall migrations. I have made very few trips this summer to the river nearby. Hopefully I will get down there in the near future. We have seen GREAT BLUE HERONS in the creek. Right now the river and creeks are roaring with the heavy rain waters which have come to our area, so no shore birds would be there now.
