I birded the Ohio River and surrounding area on River Rd. today in Louisville and there were at least 800+ waterfowl in about 5 rafts from the Falls of the Ohio to the big 4 bridge on Ind. side and on the Ky. side from Captain Quarters to the Water Tower which also includes a flooded cornfield opposite Capt. Quarters as well as a Lake on Mayfair. On Mayfair they are now beginning to pump water in to the lake on the right as you are driving down Mayfair. These number are estimated on the low side.
