The four Trumpeter Swans were at the pond on Oldham Road today. The swans are too friendly for their own good. When they spotted us they came to the car. I had to shoo them out of the road before we left. Someone has probably been feeding these birds. Other birds of interest were Wilson's snipe in flooded fields, many ducks and one Bald Eagle. Green-winged Teal, Shoveler, Gadwall, Northern Pintail and Mallard were the most common ducks seen. Hap Murray, KY **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living.
