At ~7:45pm a second Bald Eagle joined one at nest to begin a feeding session. Both eagles remained at nest while one seemed to do all of the actual feeding. This lasted for ~ 20-25 minutes, about twice as long as I observed Monday. Colleen got to see one chick, hopefully the second did hatch and will be seen soon. Colleen and I were joined yesterday by Carol and Paul McAllister and Carol's brother Joe to check on eagles. We were unable to see inside the nest as the foliage has gotten to heavy to see much. Today, the blustery wind allowed for looks into nest. Hope for wind if you decide to check on eagle chicks...
