The dry weather is bringing birds to my birdbath that I have seen very infrequently in the back yard. A red-headed woodpecker drank from the birdbath for at least 10 minutes yesterday. Today four brown thrashers disputed over who would be next on taking a bath. And for only the third time in years, I had a house sparrow at the feeder and at the bird beth.
