This morning we went to the Riverwalk in Shawnee Park. We really had a good morning with lots of bird activity. We saw two Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, our first of the season. We also had a first for the Riverwalk - an adult male Black-throated Blue Warbler. In all we tallied 16 species of warblers. Rose-breasted Grosbeaks were everywhere. Highlights include - Yellow-billed Cuckoo Gray-cheeked Thrush Yellow-throated Vireo Warbling Vireo Philadelphia Vireo Warblers - Blue-winged Golden-winged Orange-crown Nashville Cape May Black-th.
