The Brant was seen at Pumphouse Pond this morning by Connie & Wendell Neeley around 8:00. Then most of the geese and the Brant flew off. It was back at Pumphouse Pond late this evening, but I got there too late to watch it fly in. David and Joanie were there when I arrived; they said they got there at 8:15 and it was already there. We watched as it preened and swam with the Canadas. ~Roseanna Denton Science Hill, KY Pulaski County ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
