On Sunday, September 17 the Beckham Bird Club traveled to Mammoth Cave for a 
field trip. Migration was in full swing. Birds seemed to be everywhere. We 
tallied 64 species in all.

Highlights:
Wild turkey
Yellow-billed Cuckoos
E. Wood Peewees
Yel.-bel. flycatcher
Acadian flycatcher
Yellow-throated vireos
White-br. Nuthatches - abundant
Ruby-cr. kinglet
Swainson's thrush
Golden-w. warblers 
Parulas
Black-thr. Blue 
Black-thr. Greens
Blackburnians 
Yel.-throated 
Prairie
Bay-breasted
Hooded 
Canada
Both tanagers
Rose-br. grosbeaks

A beautiful late summer day and the birds were great!
