Beckham Bird Club had a field trip today to Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
A bird of interest was a Nighthawk sitting horizontally on a limb high up in
a tree. The member who spotted it said he was just scanning the tree and saw
a bump that moved. After closer inspection it was determined to be a
Nighthawk. It was certainly a nice bird to find in late October.
