Frank and everyone,
In contrast to the now-and-then odd encounter with a "peculiar" landowner,
it would be good to remind everyone that we bird at McElroy Lake in Warren
County thanks to the generosity of it's owner, Mr. Joe Neal Ballance, who
has welcomed us for a number of years. It is fortunate that one of the most
exciting birding locations that occurs on private land in Kentucky is owned
by someone who is so accommodating to birders.
With that in mind, if you are birding in the area, always remember to be
courteous and ever mindful of the "right" way to act when visiting another's
property.
