The martins are gathering in the southeast Lexington area where they
roosted I guess it was 3 years ago. There were at least two thousand of
them lined up on the power lines. The pine sapling forest is gone, but
they also roosted in the corn field. We were at the end of long walk at
the end of a long day, so we didn't stay to watch them dive into the
corn. I assume that was where they were going.
Our martins didn't sleep with us last night.
